Presented by North Street Music, Song Lounge features a selection of Australia's leading singer-songwriters together for an evening of wine, tapas and storytelling.

Georgia Mooney

At 21 years of age, Georgia Mooney is already a unique singer established in her own style. Her original folk-flavoured song writing is thoughtful, honest and quietly intense, while her voice has mesmerised audiences across Perth with its richness and depth. A graduate of the WA Academy of Performing Arts' contemporary music program (with the award for 2009 Contemporary Student of the Year) and now a student of the jazz course, Georgia has played a variety of shows including the York Jazz Festival, the support act for Joe Chindamo, singing alongside Katie Noonan in a series of sold out concerts and in local acoustic duo 'Blackbird'. With influences including Joni Mitchell, Clare Bowditch and Rufus Wainwright, Georgia offers a set of intimate, storytelling songs and promises a captivating performance.

London-born, Perth-artist, Will Udall grew up in a house full of Paul Simon, The Police and British-Invasion-era melodies. Upon discovering artists like James Taylor, Bob Dylan and Crowded House, Will began to write songs and develop his own unique style. Will’s music combines rock with traditional folk music song-writing, whilst strong guitar elements and a groovy undercurrent make for easy listening with attitude. In 2009, Will finished recording his first EP, 'Seven Songs', which is the first showcase of his solo work.  Will is bringing his brand of blues & rock to Song Lounge at The Ellington. Don't miss out!
