Unplugged at The Ellington
Monday, 15th March @7:30PM

North Street Music and Space Ship News co-present a totally new evening at The Ellington. Unplugged @ The Ellington is the first show of it’s kind at the venue, taking three emerging and leading Perth bands and putting them on an intimate stage to showcase their talent. Hear your favourite bands as you’ve never heard them before: raw, up close and unplugged!!!!
First off the rank is Sonpsilo Circus, Endora and The Autumn Isles.
Sonpsilo Circus
Formed late in 2009, Sonpsilo Circus are a three-piece band that display a masquerade of sound and melody squeezed through a time tube. Their 60's-inspired style of rock 'n' roll bears signs of Indian influenced rhythms and mantric melodies, as well as a number of ballsy riffs to keep the rockers swaying like drunk toy horses. The overall sound excites the soul and fills the room with welcoming waves of psychedelic guitar, hypnotising bass lines and powerful drums.
Endora

Endora are five lads from Perth's south producing a swelling and rousing brand of Indie Pop. With a sound likened to Death Cab For Cutie, Black Kids and Athlete, Endora intend to please your ears with blissful melody and incite dancing as their rhythm section launch into pulsing action. Endora released their debut, self titled EP in early 2009 to rave reviews and with plans to release their second and decidedly more dance driven EP mid way through this year there is a lot to be excited about when you hear the name Endora.
The Autumn Isles

Described as a "sunnier Panics with the swagger of You Am I", The Autumn Isles are committed to delivering great indie pop tunes to those with a taste for infectious melody and driving rhythms.
The Autumn Isles emerged in early 2005 to immediate local favour, with their dynamic live performances and strong song writing ability. The band have developed an impressive resume, having played support for the likes of Bob Evans, Josh Pyke, Idlewild, The Subways, Architecture in Helsinki, Dappled Cities, Machine Translations, Trashcan Sinatra's, Dom Mariani of The Stems, Katie Noonan, Clare Bowditch, Okkervil River and was included in the 2009 Southbound Festival line up.
