Tin Dog

Tin Dog are an acoustic outfit with a taste for old blues, putting tunes from the 1920s thru 40s into the blender with piano, organ, accordion, blues harp, ukulele, double bass and harmonies to produce a rich and quirky sound. Come to a Tin Dog concert and you’ll hear songs by Blind Willie McTell, Bessie Smith and Robert Johnson.

You’ll hear driving blues boogie and gospel standards, crafted and subtle tunes with a spoonful of jazz giving way to primitive backyard music, as well as a swag of our own inventions.

Tin Dog are a six piece comprised of Bill Lawrie and John Loss on guitars, blues harp and uke, Paul Gioia on keys, Bob Thomson on double bass, Paul Novosel on drums, and Andrew Winton on guitars (whose music has recently been covered by John Mayall).
