JAMES FLYNN "Isn't it romantic"

not sure how fresh?) but back with us from his New York Extravaganza
Graham Wood  and his Trio featuring Paul Pooley & Ven Banderwall
Special Guests Ray Walker on guitar & Paul Millard on saxes.

Popular vocalist,Flynn, AKA 'The Velvet Fog' will weave a web of fun and
romance over two nights of dazzling entertainment.

L.O.V.E. is the theme but you don't have to be 'in love' the weekend is
for Lovers... of great music
So if love is... in the air, just around the corner, lovelier the second
time around or just an addiction..Elingtons is the place to be.

James Flynn has established himself as one of Australia's leading jazz
vocalists.

He sings the repertoire of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole & Bobby Darin, not
as a mimic but as his own interpreter of tunes these artists made famous.

James Flynn possesses flawless intonation, a fine sense of rhythmic swing
and an uncanny interpretation of the lyric. From the point of view of
solely recording, this would be sufficient but in a live setting he brings
much more. Flynn engages his audience - he has the talent to communicate.
His concert performances in front of capacity audiences feel like a casual
presentation in a friend's lounge room. This ability to make everyone feel
"at home" is a rare skill in the jazz environment. In short he is an
entertainer.

James has developed a versatile career as actor, singer, and writer. His
work has taken him to Europe, America, Asia and throughout Australia.
He has recorded six CDs and toured and performed at jazz festivals
throughout the world. In addition to countless stage and television
performances he has performed four sell out concerts as a soloist with
West Australian Symphony Orchestra and has been the support artist for the
late great,Ray Charles.

James Flynn brings to his vocal performance a level of professionalism and
polish that is of international calibre.
