The Ellington has a music charge every show to help pay the musicians' performance fees.

Due to demand on the weekends, online booking is highly recommended.

Our standard music charge for local acts is $10 per person at the bar or $15 per person at a table (less for members).

The upstairs lounge offers video and sound coverage of the live show. Booth style seating and small tables - with full bar and cocktail bar - allow for more extensive socialising in this area. No booking is required and entry is by gold coin contribution only.

Tickets are not refundable.

Table and bar charges for international and touring acts are priced higher due to their touring costs (Click on show schedule and then click again on the show that you are interested in to get ticket prices).

Once your online booking is complete you will receive a confirmation email. If you don't receive a confirmation email within a few hours then call 9228 1088 to confirm the booking.

If you book a table for an early show then you will need to pay a further music charge for the table at the later show - or you are more than welcome to stay and enjoy our bar and upstairs lounge area for free. Tables are configured according to the number of people in your group. Single and double bookings may be required to share a table on busy nights.

If you come along after your show has finished then you will have to pay the cover charge for the later show.

Free passes are for General Admission (bar and upstairs) local shows only and cannot be used for table bookings. However on quiet nights you may ask at the door to upgrade to a table at a cost of $5.00 (not available for prebooking).

Doors will open promptly on the advertised start time for shows staged in addition to the normal schedule.
