The Scuba Duba Boys

Monday 30 March 7.00pm

The Scuba Duba boys are back, bigger, brighter, and in more floral Hawaiian shirts than ever. Beginning as a recital band in 2014, this eclectic group of musicians bonded over their mutual love of “cringe fusion”. Think smooth jazz trumpet, giant 80’s spectacles, synthesiser racks, inappropriate clap alongs, and mountains of lush lush chorus.

This ensemble features some of Perth’s most prominent young talent. Meeting during their time at WAAPA, the members have also been part of several notable local bands such as Tired Lion, The Persuasion, Frosty Leo, Blacktop and many more.

This evening will be a celebration of artists such as Mike Stern, The Brecker Brothers, Gary Willis, Snarky Puppy, and many more.

Don’t hesitate, let your inner cringe indulge for one evening only, Monday the 30th of March 2020 at The Ellington Jazz Club

Jackson Venables – Lead Guitar

Chris Travaglini – Lead Synth

Joe Powell – Lead Bass

Ethan Darnell – Rhythm Drums

Jarrad Van Dort – Special Guest
