The Music Of D’Angelo

Saturday 25 November 10.30pm

The singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist and producer, D’Angelo, has influenced a whole new generation of soul, R&B, funk music and a new movement known as the Neo-soul movement along with artists such as Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill and Maxwell. His Debut solo album Brown Sugar, realeased in 1995, received raved reviews and has sold over two million copies worldwide.

We will pay tribute to him by grooving to some of his hits from albums such as Voodoo, Black Messiah and Brown Sugar. Join us as we reminisce on the genius of D’Angelo with a fat, funky and soulful 9-piece band.
