Wednesday 25 May 7.00pm
Having all grown up together in Perth, Western Australia, The Love Rats have a deep musical connection that spans over 10 years, allowing for a unique, creative experience. The band lived and studied together at the prestigious James Morrison Academy of Music, where they studied under the tutelage of some of Australia’s most renowned and in demand jazz musicians. The group will feature original music written by each member, inspired by all different styles of jazz ranging in influences all the way from blues to modern jazz, as well as fun arrangements of classic tunes.
Joining them on bass for this gig is the great Alistair Peel.
