Swingin' at the Savoy

Saturday 23 February 7.00pm

Jump aboard the Swingin’ at the Savoy time machine and we will sweep you back to the fun, glamorous and entertaining days of the swing era!  We play infectious music from the 1920’s-1940’s from the likes of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller and many other greats, along with our own authentic original songs.  Swingin’ at the savoy are sure to get the party going and keep the dance floor alight!

Over the last year the band have made quite a name for themselves playing at clubs, river boats festivals and swing dance events. The music chosen is enjoyed by a very broad audience and the level of musicianship appeals to enthusiastic jazz fans and non-jazz audiences alike.  Most importantly, the band captivate their audiences and their shows include musical surprises and audience participation.
The individual band members have a great deal of experience in playing many styles of jazz and are well sought-after musicians, both in Western Australia and overseas:
