STRICTLY SINATRA: A Tribute to the Man & His Music

Ellington Jazz Club is proud to present for the very first time in Western Australia, Internationally renowned Aussie entertainer Paul Griffith, paying homage to one of the most iconic and influential performers in the history of show-business, Francis Albert Sinatra. A two hour performance closely showcasing the dynamics of a legend with the hallmark class, swagger, intonation and unparalleled professionalism.
Paul has accumulated his own chest of entertainment gold with three decades of experience across the globe, performing collectively to millions of people. As a fledgling, he started his career as a trained classical vocalist but gravitated to the world of jazz and cabaret. His has graced the stages of home with Australian legends such as Ricky May, Little Patti, Lucky Star, Don Lane working with constantly with legendary musicians such as Julian Lee, Milton Saunders, Ed Wilson just to name a few.
The road to his now ever-green international career took him to the USA where he worked with legends such as Tony Bennett, David Copperfield, Buddy Greco, Marvin Hamlisch and Gloria Estefan. He too appeared with the modern day Duke Ellington Big Band in New York. He has constantly worked within the corporate world from the shores of home to some of his favourite places such as Dubai, Mumbai, Cairo, Rio De Janeiro, Singapore and Tokyo.
Today, Paul is rarely home as he is still one of the most prolific headline acts for the lavish international cruise lines Cunard, Oceania, Regent Seven Seas, Silver Seas, Crystal & Celebrity which has taken him to every continent multiple times.
To compliment this performance, Paul will be accompanied by Tim Voutas on piano; Nick Abbey on Bass; Ryan Daunt on drums & Dan Garner on guitar. As per all dynamics, the band too will grow to seven for a climatic end to a night of sheer musical bliss in a style reminiscent of years gone by!
