Straight Ahead is excited to be back at The Ellington and to invite the renowned and soulful Perth singer Courtney Murphy as their special guest for the evening! Courtney will be singing tracks from his first solo album “BIG”, especially expanded into the big band format for tonight’s performance plus a few other surprises along the way. Also featured will be the exciting and always swingin’ vocals of Victoria Newton and Mark Underwood culminating in a vocal trio jam session at the end of the night! Of course then there’s everyone else up on the Ellington stage, eighteen of the finest jazz musicians and soloists in town! Book early for a very BIG night of swing, bebop, blues and funky good times!
