Ornella, Ezereve & Jussy Roberts: Raindance Bushfire Fundraiser

Tuesday 27 October 7.00pm

Raindance will be a whimsy night of folk pop tunes by three talented WA songbirds, Ornella, Ezereve and Jussy Roberts, also raising funds for WIRES and Minderoo Foundation’s Fire Fund, through CD sales and a raffle.
In 2019 Ornella, hailing from Busselton, stepped onto the stages of the South West region bringing with her a darker side to the acoustic pop sound. Selected last year for one of the highly sort after positions in the APRA AMCOS WA Female Mentoring Program, the latter half of 2019 was big for Ornella, especially with the release of her debut single Golden Boy (Nov 2019) and the following release of piano ballad Dizzy (Dec 2019). Ornella’s broad range of talents will have you mesmerized, each of her performances so honest and sincere that a magnetic humility flows through every note played. Many of her tunes take on a dream-like quality with catchy chants and catchier choruses. In 2020 Ornella hopes to share more of her music, kicking things off with her acoustic love song In the Middle of the Night, released 4th March this year with a South West Tour to follow. “Her music continues to evolve, with a dash of both darkness and hope.”- aroundthesound.com.au
Ezereve is a folkish lover of freedom. Kinda like a free spirited folky Norah Jones with a bit of sass. She has been invited to perform as a guest soloist for the Perth Symphony Orchestra on several occasions, and plays at many events and weddings around WA. This Chittering Valley songbird is passionate about making a difference through music. Her album Knocking on the Shore raised $20,000 for World Vision Child Rescue in Cambodia. A total of $50,000 has been raised for charity through her music so far. Every dollar from her #BFFme CD sales on the night will be donated to Minderoo Foundation’s Fire Fund, to help rebuild Australian communities. You can expect her to be wearing a bizarre outfit whilst singing quirky tunes about MILFs, bitches, and falling in love with school mums, with a full band. Hear the difference!
Jussy Roberts is no ordinary singer/songwriter/pianist. This Perth songstress will be launching her stunning album Raindance, accompanied by her full band, complete with harmonies. Raindance was independently written, recorded and mastered in her own studio! Jussy’s folk-pop melodies, blended with sweet and haunting vocals, will take you on a heartfelt and soulful journey. Raindance, the title track of her album, is a song inspired by the hardships of drought. Passionate about preserving wildlife, Jussy aims to raise much needed funds after the devastation of the recent bushfires that engulfed Australia. Every dollar from her Raindance CD sales on the night will be donated to WIRES animal charity.
There will also be a raffle on the night with every dollar going to WIRES and Minderoo Foundation’s Fire Fund.
