Mingus and Monk: The Passions of Two Men

MI7, the sensational Mingus and Monk tribute band, return to The Ellington on Wednesday,March 21st.

Unless you’re wearing sandals, the guys will knock your socks off with their passionate renditions of the repertoire of Thelonious Monk and Charles Mingus.

Ricky Malet and Jeremy Greig feature on trumpet and trombone; Roger Garrood and Steve Searle manipulate the reeds and the rhythm section is powered along by Harry Mitchell on piano, Murray Wilkins on bass and Danny Susnjar on drums.

General Admission refers to patrons who have not purchased a membership.

Jazz Standard / Student applies to patrons who have purchased a Jazz Standard Membership and show this card on entry or to students who show their student card on entry.

Duke Duchess applies to those who have purchased a Duke/Duchess membership and show this card on entry.

Table restricted view refers to a few table places which have sight line issues across the grand piano, but allow seated table entry.
