Mama Red & The Dark Blues – Limited Sedition

Thursday 12 November 7.00pm

Let Mama Red & the Dark Blues put some heat in your sweet summer evening with a little Australian gothic rock, heavy new-folk harmonies and a heaping helping of country-blues inspired ironic pop.

We’ve poured all the fears and tears of this soul-wrenching year into some serious songwriting, and we’re bringing to the stage stories of uprising, sedition and sister solidarity.

We have some special guests joining us to pour their hearts out for your pleasure, and we promise, in true Dark Blues form, we’ll leave everything on the stage.

Join Harry Deluxe, The Dark Blues and the delicious Ellington Jazz Club crew, for some fiery (and feisty) delicacies served directly to you from both on and off the stage!

MRDBs are:

Harry Deluxe (AKA Mama Red) – Lead Vox

Melanie Bainbridge – Song writer, Backing vox

Therese Cruise – Backing vox

Al James – Guitar, vox

Gregory Brenton – Drums, percussion, vox

Special Guest: Leah Van Der Meulen – Bass

Special Guest: Sanshi – Didgeridoo

Other super special guests… at our behest…
