Libby Hammer's Crazy Hat Day Kids Show

Friday 21 April 9.30am

It’s school holidays so the Ellington Jazz Club’s kids cushion concerts with Libby Hammer are back again! Join Libby, the mysterious Mister Jazzcat and the rest of the band as they introduce the sounds of funk, pop, blues, and jazz to eager young ears, along with a good measure of singing and dancing thrown in. Libby can’t wait to perform for you a bunch of new, fun, original songs from her show, Crazy Hat Day, which recently won the Fringe World Festival WA Children’s Events Award, so bring your best singing voice and your boogie shoes (and a crazy hat if you like)!
Produced by music education specialist Neil Barclay, the kids cushion concerts are pitched at an age range of around 4 to 7 years old but children of all ages will be able to enjoy this event.
For just $10 each per kid, grab a special show bag with treats and a toy! Pre-order as a special event ticket and they’ll be ready to collect at the door. $15 tickets (babies under 1 year free), $10 showbag. Doors open at 9am for the 9.30am show and 10.30am for the 11am show.  There is a limited amount of booth seating but bring a cushion as all tables will be removed for the shows.
