Jodie Tes and The Popular Front

Friday 01 April 7.00pm

WAMI Award winning singer/songwriter, Jodie Tes, is a well-known performer in the Perth jazz scene. Since graduating from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), she has gone on to record three albums and to tour nationally and internationally. For this show she will present an exciting, new repertoire of original music. Citing influences as diverse as Joan as Policewoman, Billie Holliday and London Grammar, expect to hear the sound of soulful jazz alongside sweet, melancholic pop. Her talented band of musicians, The Popular Front, includes: Mark Ralph on keys, Paul Hines on bass, Almin Fulurija on drums and Priam Bacich on guitar.
