Jeanie Proude - WAAPA Jazz Recital

Monday 20 November 8.00pm

Reinvention, expansion, and exploration; Jeanie Proude’s year has become all about these words. Having been involved in a completely different part of the music industry previously with a contemporary background, Jeanie has been studying these past 4 years at WAAPA, specialising in jazz voice and can’t wait to celebrate her graduation with you and share her amalgamation of influences from jazz, folk and latin music. Throughout the night, you could find yourself anywhere between an absolutely swingin’ jazz standard, to a modern jazz interpretation of a popular folk song, or an original of Jeanie’s coming from her roots of pop music merged with her greatest jazz influences.
Jeanie Proude – vocals
Tim Voutas – piano
Matt Gudgeon – guitar
Kieran Barnes – double bass
Liam Hickey – drums
James Sewell – alto saxophone/flute
Sam Hadlow – trombone
Tom Walsh – tenor saxophone

Tickets can be purchased in the following way:

$5 at the bar (standing) per recital – Book Bar General Admin
