Jazz Presents the Music of Lianne La Havas

Twenty year old Perth based Jazz and Contemporary vocalist JAZZ presents the music of Lianne La Havas. Nearing the completion of a Bachelor of Jazz Music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), JAZZ pulls inspiration from female vocalists; Lianne La Havas, Gretchen Parlato, Esperanza Spalding, Alison Wedding, and Sara Gazarek to bring a youthful, contemporary approach to timeless jazz standards as well as performing unique renditions of modern hits.

JAZZ will be joined by Perth’s most in demand musicians to celebrate the music of the British singer and songwriter; Lianne La Havas. Tim Voutas (piano), Mike Ellis (guitar), Karl Florrison (bass), Ryan Daunt (drums) and unrevealed special guest vocalists join JAZZ for this dynamic evening. Performing an array of tracks from La Havas’ most loved records; the audience can expect to hear emotional ballads, cheeky love songs and upbeat get-out-of-your-seat hits to showcase the versatility of the artist.
