James Flynn ‘Jazz Stories’

James Flynn has had a versatile career that spans three decades and has taken him all over the world. This year he celebrates his thirtieth year in the industry where he continues to work as a professional a jazz vocalist, band leader, composer, actor, director & writer.

Join James in an intimate evening of stories and anecdotes from his travels and career to date underscored by some beautiful tunes and a sprinkling of original compositions.

James Flynn- Vocals, Gabriel Fatin – Piano, Ray Walker – Guitar, Alistair Peel– Bass, & Ben Falle – Drums

Originally from Scotland, Flynn has been based in Western Australia since 1997. He has written, produced and featured in, regional and national touring productions within Australia and consolidated a significant reputation internationally for his many performances overseas.

Sample career highlights include, support artist for Ray Charles, support & touring artist with Demis Roussos, featured soloist with The West Australian Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Festivals in Australia, Europe, UK & Asia. Opening act for ‘The Summer Horns’ (Gerald Albright, Mindi Abair, Dave Koz & Richard Elliot) onboard The Dave Koz Cruise.

James has recorded eight Jazz CD’s and is currently working on a new album of original compositions, some of which he will perform on Sunday 9th.

Table restricted view refers to a few table places which have sight line issues across the grand piano, but allow seated table entry.
