Ever been to one of those dinner parties? The kind where diners find themselves suspects in a murder case? This cabaret-esque/musical-theatre-ish romp, How To Co-Host A Murder, is just like that. Except it’s for a lot more than eight people.

It’s New York,
New Year’s Eve,
1929 prohibition…

The world is on the brink of a new decade of very modern possibilities. But in the basement of a small nightclub, The Caught-In Club (a wannabe of the glamorous Cotton Club uptown), the artists, the establishment and even the live audience become dangerously caught in the past…

Mysteriously the club’s not-so-famous star, Millie Halliday, is murdered during the performance. Can the local authorities piece together the clues and solve this henous crime? Will the club patrons be able to hide their illegal booze and not be carted off to prison? How will local detective Rick Racy hunt down the killer before they strike in cold blood again? In this highly interactive show everyone is a suspect and no-one can leave until he can – Not even the audience!

Join our club’s two Emcees and cabaret girls, together with a few heroic gangsters and dodgy officers-of-the-law, and they will take you on the musical ride of a life-time. With well-known songs from Rodgers & Hart, Kander & Ebb and Cole Porter, as well as the very best that 1930s musical theatre can offer, this show promises to be a raucous, thoroughly entertaining and very, very different night out.

** PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL FRINGE WORLD SHOWS WILL START PROMPTLY AT THE ADVERTISED TIME **
