HONKY TONK WOMEN - Monique diMattina & Rebecca Barnard

Thursday 23 August 7.00pm

Off the back of their sellout Dylan tribute show, Monique and Rebecca pick up where they left off,  re-interpreting Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone, sounds of New Orleans and their own contribution to the great Australian Songbook.
Dancing in the cracks between jazz/roots and rock/pop, these master divas explore what it is to be a Honky Tonk woman – juggling roles as touring musicians, mothers, songwriters, renovators and rock stars, drawing on their experience playing about a million gigs between them.
With their larrikin wit for story telling and stunning musicianship, Monique and Rebecca delight audiences and critics alike – garnering 4 star fave reviews all around the country..
