Evan Ayres and The Swing Kings

Monday 15 February 7.00pm

After a show stopping debut, Perth’s hottest Swing band Evan Ayres and The Swing Kings are back at The Ellington!
Performing Swing Jazz classics and originals (written by Evan), from Michael Buble to Fred Astaire, a couple of rock n roll tunes, and even a little country, this is an event you do not want to miss.

The all-star trio, who met and are currently studying at WAAPA, was formed by Evan after he moved to Perth from Albany to study a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Vocals) in 2020. Prior to moving to Perth Evan had an eight piece Swing band in Albany, with which he recorded an EP of originals and sold out The Albany Port Theatre Six times (within two hours of tickets being on sale). Evan Ayres and The Swing Kings features Evan Ayres (Vocals and Guitar), Hayden Webster (Double Bass) and William Wallace (Drums).

“This was a fantastic show. Very impressed with the first time I’ve seen the band. Will definitely be looking out for the next one. Well done lads!”

“Amazing talent. This show could easily be in Vegas. The whole band is amazing. Very smooth. Great night out.”

“His crooning voice sets hearts of all ages aflutter, bringing back the nostalgia of first loves, lost loves and forever loves”
