Disintegration: Drag & Burlesque to The Music of The Cure
Saturday 01 May 10.30pm
Melodramatic romantic relationships, morbid feelings of unsettlement and poetic imagery ranging from absurd to terrifying. These points all sound like a millennial musician, and that’s how timeless the music of The Cure is, a 70s/80s post punk band that has become arguably one of the most influential bands of the 21st Century.
A band of misfits from Perth’s Burlesque and Drag Scene have banded together through Spectacles Productions to create a unique and exciting variety cabaret like no other, celebrating and performing The Cure’s discography: in all its romantic and gothic glory.
