Sunday 02 October 7.00pm
Hey, old friend! Four of Perth’s premier Vocalists would like to propose a toast to the most influential Composer & Lyricist of our generation.
From the lyrics of West Side Story and Gypsy, to the compositions of Company, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd and Follies… Over six decades, Sondheim redefined musical theatre and wove his way into our hearts with “Send in the Clowns”, “Being Alive”, “Not While I’m Around”, “Ladies Who Lunch”, “Losing my Mind”, “Sooner or Later”, “Children will Listen” and more.
The world mourned when Sondheim left us last November. Tonight, a star-studded line-up from the worlds of Jazz, Opera and Musical Theatre, come together to lovingly bring Sondheim’s legacy to life.
Please join us for a little night music with lots of company, in joyous celebration of the late, great Stephen Sondheim!
