Catherine Clarnette Quartet

Wednesday 24 January 7.00pm

Catherine Clarnette is thrilled to return to The Ellington Jazz Club with an outstanding team of musicians for a sophisticated evening of standards, showtunes and jazz-infused pop. Featuring Ben Vanderwal on drums, Joe Southwell on bass, and David Martinus on keys, this show will be an easy-listening taste of jazzy favourites and originals from Catherine’s two studio albums.
Catherine studied Music Education and Jazz Music at Edith Cowan University, completing her principal performance studies in jazz voice at the WA Academy of Performing Arts. She is a passionate music educator with a great love for working with young musicians, and enjoys maintaining a regular recording and performing schedule as a solo artist. Performance highlights include shows at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, Euro Disney in Paris, and Fringe World Festival in Perth.
