After a packed performance in May, Ayodele and her band return to the Ellington late night stage with their smorgasbord of dazzling melodies and hip arrangements. There’ll be something sweet for everyone’s musical tastebuds as they present tunes by artists including Dirty Loops and Jill Scott and Kings of Leon, rehashing the hits from the first show as well as exploring some astounding new tunes. Come down and treat yourself to the r&b and soul sounds of some of Perth’s finest musical talent, and indulge in the fabulous cocktails and tapas served in this premier live music lounge.
Ayodele’s name (pronounced eye-yo-deli) means “Joy has come into the House”. A singer-songwriter of Nigerian-Australian decent, Ayo has toured the world singing in places such as Los Angeles, the US Virgin Islands, Canada, Paris, Brunei, Singapore and Vanuatu. She has supported the likes of Grammy Award-winning artists Mary Mary and performed at the JoyFest Gospel Music Festival in St. Croix.
