“… an explosion of soul.” – Sydney Morning Herald

“… she sings like a funky angel.” – BMA Magazine

Powerhouse soul songstress Shameem always graces the Ellington stage with high-energy performances. Having earned her stripes with her original neo-soul music, this show sees Shameem delving into her favourite tunes from nu and old school soul artists alike – everything from Aretha to Alicia! Shameem has proved that she can put on a stellar performance, having supported such artists as George Benson, Michael Bolton, Ronan Keating, Belinda Carlisle and Anthony Callea, and performed all around Australia and in Canada. You can expect a sizzling and interactive set with Shameem’s hard-grooving band, oozing funky flavour. Come and see what all the fuss is about!
