Ali Bodycoat's MINOR MAJOR MARLENE

Wednesday 12 July 7.00pm

Fresh from winning Best WA Cabaret Award for Fringe 2017, Ali Bodycoat brings back Minor Major Marlene to The Ellington Jazz Club for one intimate evening only.

Minor Major Marlene is a sumptuous and intelligent glimpse into the astonishing 65-year career of Marlene Dietrich.

Accompanied by Brodie Stewart on grand piano, Ali  paints an extraordinary picture of Marlene Dietrich’s remarkable and complex character. From glamorous femme fatale on screen to formidable stage performer, Bodycoat captures the charm, wit and severity of the original queen of reinvention with her exceptional vocal ability and poignant stage presence.

Striking, captivating and beautifully presented, Minor Major Marlene features exquisite costumes by Aurelio Costarella, stunning visuals by VJzoo and a repertoire of classics such as Lili Marlene, Blue Heaven, White Grass and Falling In Love Again.

Seats are limited due to viewing so book quickly!
