Lead by Mauritian pianist and composer Thierryno Gangou, 457 bring original compositions to life with their unique mix of rhythms from the Seven Seas.  With Mike Collinson on sax/flute/clarinet, Sarah Clare on bass and Vince Pavitt on drums, let your senses be taken on a vibrant journey with infectious grooves of Sega, Seggae, Tango, Salsa, Samba, Bossa, Zouk…. landing smack bang in the complex earthy beats of South Africa! 457 are thrilled to be releasing their highly anticipated debut album (recently recorded at Villanova music with Elliot Smith) at the Ellington on April 16thEaster Sunday. Featuring songs from the album and the premier of some brand spanking new tunes, what better way to celebrate the long weekend-come join the festivities!
